Questions/Comments about the NY Class Program

Congrats! Does this mean that UCB is an eligible school for tax deductions?

I'm quoting TurboTax here:

Eligible Schools

"To deduct tuition and other fees on a return, a student must attend a program at an eligible school...

An eligible school is any college, university, vocational school, or other post-secondary educational institution that can participate in a student aid program. Most accredited, public, nonprofit, and private schools fall into this category.

Contact your school if you're not sure if it's eligible."

Thank you! - last-minute tax panicker

Sorry if this was answered and I missed it.
Has the LA school been accredited along with the NY school?
Thanks.

I'm facing horrible student loans but I can have them deferred if I continue to take classes. Would taking classes at UCB count since it's accredited? I plan on taking courses anyway so if they help with my timeline of loan payments, that'd be awesome

Thanks!

No. If anything it's gotten harder for us to get involved with student visa's. Non-Degree granting schools, particularly ones like us that serve our classes a la carte (versus you enroll for a certain period of time), are in a real difficult spot when it comes to any government funding, aid, etc.

Sorry.

Almost six years later and I am curious about this as well.

Sorry, I missed this question!

The school is accredited on both coasts.
