An Evening With Neil Casey - Friday March 5

Postby tanouye » Mon Feb 22, 2010 8:13 pm

An Evening With Neil Casey
at the UCB Training Center
Friday March 5
7:00 pm

(See below for details on attending!)

Neil is one of the most experienced directors, performers, and writers at the Theatre. Also, he's one of our best teachers.

I thought he would be an ideal interview for what will hopefully be a series of similar events.  We'll talk about what classes he took, when he joined practice and performance groups, and how he got to be so good at improv.  We'll also cover his work writing and acting in sketch shows, directing Stone Cold Fox, and the process of putting up a show. Also, we'll talk about making videos and tv shows.  And we'll take questions from the audience.  If time permits, we'll ask about computer programming and how to allow full-text searching of a MySQL database with referential integrity.

Are you an improv or sketch student at the Training Center who wonders how current performers got to where they are today? Then this event is for you!

It's free! But space will be limited.
It's open to students who are currently enrolled in or have completed an improv or sketch course in the last two years.

If you're interested in attending, reply to this thread.  (You'll have to register for the boards.)
Then I will send you a private message to confirm your identity and secure you a seat if one is still available.
