Students Wanted - Perform at American Pie!

Hi! I host a show at UCB Inner Sanctum that features comedians performing new forms they've never done for the first time.

In addition to booked performers, we feature lottery spots for students & newcomers to pop their performing cherry. If you're interested in performing or want to try something out for the first time, we'd love to have you! It's a supportive environment and we love experimental stuff. Come try characters, standup, roast jokes, monologue, jokes, or whatever weird bits you want to do.

Lottery spots are usually about 3 minutes and are drawn at random throughout the show. To sign up, just show up and drop your name in the bucket!

American Pie is the 2nd Monday of the month @ 10pm.

Announcement! American Pie is getting an update. We’re adding on more lottery and more booked spots to the show. There will now be 10 lottery and 10 booked spots each show. If you’ve got a new bit or form you’d like to try, come try it here! Set times will be 4-5 minutes.

Still open to public, audience is welcome to jump on stage or just watch. The biggest change is we’ll have more comics on the show + more lottery spots.

All forms welcome (improv, characters, sketch, poetry, music) as long as it's not the traditional form you perform in. No standup if you're a standup.
