19th Annual Del Close Marathon
Dates and Submission Information

DCM19 Dates: June 23rd-25th, 2017 NYC

Submitting for DCM19:

NEW: There are two phases to the submission process.

Phase One: Regular Show submissions.
This is when you submit your Long Form Improv Team.
Regular Show slots are 15-30 minutes long.
Submissions must be complete before you pay the fee.
This means:
-ALL cast members must be added at the time of submission
-Proper video link and photo must be submitted
-Submissions can not be changed once payment is processed

You will not be able to make changes or edits once your show is submitted. You will not be able to add cast members once your show is submitted. You will not be able to swap in a different video link once your show is submitted. Incomplete submissions will be ignored and you’ll lose money. You can start your submission, save it and return to it later to complete by the deadline.

You can follow directions and do this, we know you can!

Phase Two: Bit Show submissions.
After acceptance emails are sent for Regular Shows we will open up submissions for Bit Shows.
Bit Shows are 5-15 minute slots during late night/early morning hours that are silly and stupid. Only performers accepted to perform via a Regular Show will be allowed to submit and/or participate in a Bit Show.

About Del Close
Del Close was the driving force behind improvisational comedy in Chicago for over 30 years, influencing Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Mike Myers, John Belushi, Chris Farley and the Upright Citizens Brigade, to name a few. After Del's passing in 1999, the UCB started the Del Close Marathon in 1999 to celebrate their mentor and keep alive his name and teachings for future generations.
