After seeing that the character-based sketch has been clarified as not a monologue, I’m wondering if the sketch of your choice choice can be a character monologue. Or is a character monologue not considered a sketch / not wanted for any of this?

Do not submit character monologues. We found that they are taxing to read when reviewing packets and have a higher rate of failure, so we are trying to help everyone out by not allowing them.

I'd like to submit as a writer. My last multi-week class was August 2015. Is there any leniency in the cutoff date for eligibility? Thanks!
