Free Improv and Sketch Workshops next week (12/15 and 12/17)

Postby kevhines » Tue Dec 02, 2014 6:35 pm

One more time, I am offering some free workshops.

These are both during the day (sorry).

I am offering one improv workshop on Monday Dec. 15th from 2:30-6 (that's 3 and a half hours).
It'll be run by 3 different coaches, each for an hour. I'll be there too.
Please only sign up if you can be there the entire time.
This workshop is best suited for people in or finished with 201,301, or 401.

I am offering on sketch workshop on Wednesday Dec. 17th from 2:30-5:30 (the normal 3 hours)
This will be run by 2 different coaches. I'll be there too.
You should bring at least 2 sketches (and/or pitches/one pagers) to discuss.
This is best for anyone who has at least started a UCB Sketch Class.
Please only sign up if you can be there for the entire time.

The form to apply (for either or both workshops) is here:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1EYb0c_ ... =send_form

The form will be open for about 24 hours.
After that I will randomly select the students who will get to attend and email them.
Then I will email everyone to let them know the class is filled.

Feel free to ask questions below.

Question: who's the second best artist to work on Spider-Man, after Steve Ditko, that you know of?

In response to the Spider-Man question -- "jazzy" John Romita, although Todd McFarlane had a stretch of classic work.

Will - that questions feels unrelated.
I prefer John Romita Jr to John Romita Sr and I feel Sal Buscema was underrated.
But the question is flawed. After Ditko - nothing else matters.
